At GAP Talent, we are dedicated to changing lives, one day at a time. Through our #GAPGivesBack initiative in partnership with our Talent Partners (our Clients), we proudly support the Door of Hope Children’s Mission in South Africa; helping to bring hope to the lives of abandoned children who once had none.

Welcoming Baby Boy BO

We are excited to introduce Baby Boy BO, who joined the Door of Hope family in late February. Found abandoned at birth and initially malnourished, he has since been gaining healthy weight under the nurturing care provided at the mission. Although Baby Boy BO faced health challenges in May and required ICU care, the dedicated Door of Hope team continues to monitor his progress closely. We look forward to sharing positive updates in the future.

Milestones and Growth

Baby Boy NV is a testament to resilience and growth. His eagerness to explore his surroundings is evident as he learns to crawl and moves around energetically. His love for food is helping him grow stronger every day.

Sensory Play: A Vital Element of Care

A significant advancement at Door of Hope is the creation of a sensory room in Baby Boy B’s house. Designed for sensory play and stimulation, it features varied lighting, textured walls and floors, and areas for messy play and sound exploration. Sensory play fosters learning, curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity, promoting brain and motor skill development. This environment is especially beneficial for special needs infants, providing them with joyful and educational experiences.
