General Manager – Caribbean
GAP Talent are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead a team in one of the largest hospitality
organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving overall business success.
This role will be based in the Caribbean and requires full relocation to the Caribbean.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Implement and maintain high operational standards, compliance, and quality service.
- Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a consistently exceptional dining experience for customers.
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute effective promotional activities.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and cost optimization.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control procedures.
Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets and managing a diverse team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
