Financial Director – Kingston

My client is a respected leader in the retail sector.

This role will:

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with established standards and timeframes of submission.
• Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly reporting information are accurate and are submitted within a applicable deadlines
• Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Managing the budgeting process and ensuring it is completed in a timely manner
• Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organisation are met
• Responsible for Group Treasury. This includes the collection of dues as well as payment of suppliers in accordance with terms.
• Ensure that strong relationships are kept with our banking partners
• Prepare all supporting information for internal and external auditors
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for all financial processes.
• Manage the Finance Team for the Group, ensure proper succession planning and growth of team members.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure data protection at the highest standards
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll activities

The skills required for this role are:

• ·Qualified Chartered Accountant ACA / CPA
• Good Technical skills especially IFRS
• Experience of producing PLC Statutory accounts
• Advance Excel skills
• Problem solving skills
• Commercial awareness

Package will depend upon experience.
