Job Summary:
An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join a prestigious, publicly listed multinational hotel group operating across the Caribbean and Central America. This high-profile role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in digital transformation, IT infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, enhance operational efficiencies, and lead technology initiatives that align with the organization’s long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an enterprise-wide IT strategy to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiencies.
- Lead digital transformation projects, including cloud migration, cybersecurity enhancements, and AI-driven customer engagement solutions.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, data security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage and optimize IT budgets to ensure cost-effective technology investments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Strengthen partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Lead a geographically dispersed IT team, ensuring high performance and alignment with corporate goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and hotel management systems (PMS, CRM, POS).
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data privacy laws.
- Experience in managing multi-location IT operations across different countries.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
