Our client is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their financial team within their London offices near London Bridge station.

The Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in supporting the company by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting in accordance with local requirements and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

As a Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Maintain Accurate Financial Statements
  • Complete accounting entries promptly and accurately, maintaining a high level of precision in all financial transactions.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth and timely running of the monthly financial close cycle across the group, ensuring all financial activities are accounted for accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver the month-end balance sheet review to ensure that financial controls are in place. Ensure all accounts are reconciled and address any unreconciled accounts.
  • Review all intercompany account balances and reconcile them with counterparties, ensuring accurate and transparent financial intercompany transactions.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices to maintain accurate records of payables and ensure timely payments.
  • Periodically reconcile trader accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in trade-related financial transactions.
  • Deliver monthly bank account reconciliations to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately reflected in the company’s records.
  • Process daily bank transactions and reconcile payments, maintaining up-to-date and precise records of financial activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
