Jacqueline Leith's Journey to Ironman 70.3 for Khumba Ncila

Team Spotlight & Community Impact: Khumba Ncila

This leap day, we’re incredibly proud to share a journey of extraordinary challenge and purpose within our GAP Talent family. Talent Manager, Jacqueline Leith, is embarking on a remarkable challenge – participating in the Ironman 70.3 Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Jacqueline’s venture into the Ironman 70.3 isn’t merely for personal achievement, but a purposeful commitment to supporting Khumba Ncila, meaning Touching Tales in Shangaan, our Charity of the Month for February. “If the challenge doesn’t scare you, the goal or dream isn’t big enough,” Jacqueline says, embodying the spirit of both personal and community growth. Her preparation for this multi-disciplinary event, despite never being a swimmer or cyclist before, is a testament to her dedication and passion for this cause.

Khumba Ncila, situated on the outskirts of Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, works tirelessly and with limited funding, to address animal welfare issues in surrounding villages; providing support, education and care for livestock and pets, as well as aiding homeless animals in need.

We invite our social community to join us in cheering for Jacqueline by supporting the Khumba Ncila BackaBuddy Fundraiser. Let’s rally together for this cause that touches so many lives, both human and animal. Your support can make a significant difference in providing care, education, and support to the Sabi Sands communities, their livestock, pets and homeless animals in need.
