Honouring Ryan McCabe: #RunForRyan2025

At GAP Talent, our #GAPGivesBack initiative is more than just a commitment to charitable giving - it is also a celebration of individuals who have left an indelible mark on our industry and communities. This January, we are honoured to support Run for Ryan, an initiative that is deeply personal to us and so many others who had the privilege of knowing Ryan McCabe.

Who Was Ryan McCabe?

Ryan McCabe was a leader and a visionary. As the Founder & CEO of Odro, he revolutionised video interview technology, empowering businesses and recruitment professionals worldwide. More than his professional achievements, Ryan was a beloved husband, dad, friend, mentor, and champion of giving back. His sudden passing in 2024 was a heartbreaking loss, but his impact lives on through the Ryan McCabe Foundation.

Charities Supported by the Ryan McCabe Foundation

The foundation continues to support the causes Ryan was passionate about, including:

MacMillan Cancer Support – Providing vital support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
Teenage Cancer Trust – Ensuring young people battling cancer receive the specialised care they need.
Andy’s Man Club – A men’s mental health movement that promotes open conversations and support.
Eilidh’s Rainbow – A charity offering assistance to families of children with complex medical needs.

What Is Run for Ryan?

Run for Ryan is a 10km run created to celebrate Ryan’s life and legacy. It brings together family, friends, colleagues, and the wider recruitment community to honour Ryan’s memory and raise funds for the charities closest to his heart.

📍 Location: Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton
📅 Date: 8 March 2025
🌍 Virtual Option: Participate from anywhere in the world between 7–9 March 2025
🎟️ Entry Fee: £25 (fully donated to the Ryan McCabe Foundation)
