Financial Accountant – London

GAP Talent has exclusively partnered up with a leading Private Equity firm in London who is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role provides an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy and overall growth for the next 5-10 years.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the directors/shareholders on day-to-day operations and long-term projects.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning activities.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposures, including interest rate risk, market risk, and credit risk.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Skillset and experience:

• Must hold a ACA or CA(SA) qualification.
• Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the investment management industry.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully driving comprehensive finance strategy initiatives.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
