MEP Project Engineer- Caribbean Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are looking to speak to MEP Project Engineers who are interested in an international opportunity to join one the worlds leading hospitality groups based out in the Caribbean!

Under the direction of the Project Manager, the MEP Project Engineer will oversee the coordination, management, and execution of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess a thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical design principles and installation techniques.
• Provide technical guidance to designers, supervisors, installers, and inspectors concerning the installation and upkeep of MEP systems.
• Organise, review, and assess the work of consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate the installation and inspection of relevant equipment and systems.
• Review technical drawings and specifications of MEP systems to ensure compliance with standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Interact effectively with design professionals at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience related to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous.
• Proficient in MEP design, management, and implementation.
• Familiarity with plans, prints, specifications, and schematics relevant to the trade.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
